Why Hillary Clinton’s emails disqualify Bernie Sanders

Senator Bernie Sanders is the next big thing in the Democratic Party. He draws enormous crowds by catering to people’s anger without providing any rational solutions to the problems. In a lot of ways, the Senator who sold out Independents to advance his political aspirations in the Democratic Party, is simply the leftwing mirror of Donald Trump.

You’re angry about the world? Perhaps if it wasn’t for the evil Wall Street thieves being funded by the corrupt Koch Brothers to steal your very existence with five dollar ATM fees, we would all be in a better place.

All rhetoric, no substance.

It’s really not surprising when national security concerns are raised regarding Hillary Clinton’s e-mails, Senator Sanders politicizes it in his call to not politicize it.

Specifically, regarding the emails, Senator Sanders said there is a “legal process in place which should proceed and not be politicized.”

Yet, in regards to the Flint water crisis, Senator Sanders politicized it:

There are no excuses. The governor long ago knew about the lead in Flint’s water. He did nothing. As a result, hundreds of children were poisoned. Thousands may have been exposed to potential brain damage from lead. Gov. Snyder should resign

Here we see Senator Sanders politicizing a problem, instead of letting an investigative process run its course. What’s the difference?

His inconsistency likely has to do with the fact the target of the Flint criticism is a Republican and Senator Sanders is a born again Democrat, becoming one with the partisan machine that plays political games with people’s lives.

The emails involving top secret information on an unsecured server relates to a Democrat and thus he leaves it alone. Did Senator Sanders at least check to ensure Wall Street didn’t fund this exchange of sensitive information? Maybe the State Department just couldn’t afford greater security because it spent all of its pocket change on five dollar ATM fees.

Whatever the reason, it shows that while Senator Sanders may be equipped to play the same old partisan games that any given Democrat can do, he is not capable of any serious level of integrity. Furthermore, it reinforces a continued trend of weakness on national security.

Was the State Department politicizing the process when it made its announcement regarding the e-mails?

From CNN:

State Department spokesman John Kirby said the documents, totaling 37 pages, were not marked classified at the time they were sent, but are being upgraded at the request of the Intelligence Community because they contain sensitive information.

It was actually making a judgment call based on information from the intelligence community, people who operate behind the scenes and have zero political gain from playing games. The fact that Hillary Clinton didn’t feel these were top secret but professionals in the field did shows a real lack of discretion or a concerning level of incompetence.

To call this mere politics is irresponsible and shows Senator Sanders isn’t qualified to be anything more than a career politician shouting about Wall Street conspiracy theories and selling out Independents to advance his own career in politics.

Senator Sanders is all cheap rhetoric and zero substance.
