Welcome to Undercover Porcupine

For those of you who do not know me yet, my name is Chris Dixon. For two years now, I have been State Coordinator of the Maine Tenth Amendment Center, the State chapter for Maine for the Tenth Amendment Center. T.A.C. is a national think tank dedicated to advancing the principles of liberty and limited government. I also am Androscoggin County co-coordinator with the Maine Campaign For Liberty and was Androscoggin County co-coordinator for the Ron Paul 2012 Presidential Campaign during the Republican primaries.

My convictions are strong, and needless to say, my beliefs have a heavy libertarian-leaning to them.

The title of the blog, “Undercover Porcupine”, describes me well. To understand it, one must understand the porcupine’s relevance. For libertarians, the porcupine has become a symbol, as it is a defensive animal and non-aggressive. I am not, however, a registered Libertarian. Since I became of age to vote, I have been a Republican who has been active within the Republican Party.

Being a porcupine however, expect sharp, straight-to-the-point commentary. This includes prickly, uncomfortable truths.

In the blog, I will cover a whole range of issues that face us today. I hope it will be an interesting perspective for you to read and even a good conversation starter. I welcome you!

With that said, I hope you enjoy the ride and will stay tuned. Thank you for reading my blog!
